Ventilated facade

Ventilated facade – a modern and efficient solution

In this day and age, where the demand for sustainable and eco-friendly solutions is constantly increasing in almost all sectors, new eco-friendly products are also emerging in the construction industry. One such product is our TEMPSI ventilated facade cladding boards.

Ventilated facades – a modern and smart way to insulate buildings

Ventilated facades protect buildings against the weather and allow natural ventilation of the facade while creating a healthy indoor climate. It is a multi-layered construction, installed on the outside of the building on load-bearing walls, consisting of a ventilated facade support structure (timber, stainless steel or aluminium frame), a thermal insulation layer, an air layer and facade cladding. The facade air gap between the insulation and the facade cladding at the top and bottom ensures adequate air and vapour circulation in the building structure and allows any moisture to evaporate, thus extending the service life of the structure. Ventilated facades allow to increase the thermal insulation properties of walls, as well as to improve sound insulation levels and prevent condensation and mould growth. In addition, the low weight of these systems allows them to be installed on any type of load-bearing wall. The cladding boards can be easily replaced without interfering with the load-bearing structures.

TEMPSI ventilated facade solution for energy efficient homes

For more than 15 years, the Wolf Group has been offering the TEMPSI complete facade solution for energy-efficient homes. The brand’s products provide creative surface solutions for public, business and residential buildings while offering outstanding architectural and engineering design.

TEMPSI’s large-format cement-bonded particleboards, made from wood chips, cement, water and hydration additives, are an economical and practical solution for plinth and facade finishes. The panels have a high fire resistance class (B1-s1, d0), which allows unlimited use. One of the biggest advantages of this solution is the ease of installation and the economy of resources. In addition, the industrial production of the product ensures a lower risk of damage compared to other finishing materials. When fixing to walls, the cantilever is supported by guides on which the TEMPSI boards are mounted. If the walls are not straight, this solution allows the plane to be adjusted and the facade to be levelled. With ventilated facade systems, it is also possible to save money on the type of thermal insulation by installing conventional stone wool in the first instance. This solution also facilitates structural surveys and allows LED lighting and communications to be installed in the windward layer. TEMPSI boards have a technical guarantee of 10 years and a material lifetime of at least 50 years. During operation, the ventilated facades don’t require any specific maintenance except for cleaning and inspection once a year. The boards can be installed all year round and adapted to your design preferences, both in terms of size and colour.

TEMPSI Colore and TEMPSI Granito

We offer two types of TEMPSI cladding solutions – TEMPSI Colore and TEMPSI Granito. TEMPSI Colore is coated with a layer of special weather-resistant paint – you can choose any colour from the RAL and NCS catalogue. TEMPSI Granito is coated with an epoxy adhesive and three different coatings of crushed natural stone (marble, dolomite and granite). These boards are available in 13 different shades. Both TEMPSI solutions are available in two standard sizes (1 250 x 3 350 mm; 1 250 x 2 600 mm) in thicknesses of 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm, but other sizes and thicknesses (up to 40 mm) can be ordered on request.

The brand has already become the preferred choice for many architectural and construction projects in the Baltics and the Nordic region.
