Can also be used as a finishing element in the interior - for interior wall decoration purposes because of their mechanical resistance and a broad variations of colors, and in structures which have extra requirements for fire safety and resistance against environmental effects.

Installation

Tempi Colore can be installed on a wooden or metal frame:

- With screws
- With blind rivets
- With adhesive foam

Tempsi Colore can be cut with a circular saw with a guide and carbide cutting teeth. Colore boards should be cut from the back so as not to damage the decorative side. Dust generated during the cutting process must be removed immediately, preferably with a vacuum cleaner already during cutting. After cutting, we recommend to sand and paint the cut edges in 2 layers. Screw holes are drilled from the treated side. Place a wooden base under the plate while drilling.

The boards should be installed so that there would be enough space for thermal and moisture expansions. The means of fixing should not do damage to the board, the supports or to the construction. Hence the spacing between the screws and the supporting spans should not be greater than shown in the table. Moreover, the size of the joints and the distance from the edges should not be less than shown in the table.

Joint tape should always be applied between the substructure and the panels. This allows the panel to ventilate properly and improves humidity insulation. The screws should be zinc plated or stainless. The screw holes should be pre-drilled into the board. To install the board, first fix it from two points near the center, then from the other points going in clockwise direction.

Transportation & storage

During transportation and storage, the plates must be protected from moisture, dirt, dents, and scratches. When covering the boards with a water-repellent material (e.g. film), ensure sufficient ventilation of the boards.
